Welcome to Simon's Digital Home!
Hello from Muncie, Indiana, a peaceful middle town in mid-west America!
I started this website in summer 2005, when I was visiting my sister in Cumberland, Rhode Island. As my sister teased me that I didn't have a personal website and it was a shame for a Telecommunications major, I decided to "give her a color to see see." In chinese, this means to show her a little bit of my "talent."
The construction went smoothly and one cozy summer's night saw the debut of Simon's Digital Home. When I got back in Indiana, I found I already fell in love with my new cyber space. Now Simon's Digital Home is not only a piece of work to "give somebody a color to see see," but also serves as my electronic portfolio, video art gallery, photo album, bussiness card, and plus, a place to vent!
I'd like to give my acknowledgments to my sister Ling, whose teasing always inspired me to do something new, my wife Shirley, whose harsh critiques always push me to "giving people more colors to see see," and my daugher Amy, whose unconditional love and support keep me proud of what I have done so far.

About Educational Technology
Salinger said, "the mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of a mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one."
In a technologically and multiculturally transforming era of today, how do we judge the "maturity" or "immaturity" of teachers and learners as the value system and the global ecosystem change dramatically?
